This is an Introduction to British Sign Language - a 2-week course, held by Manjeet Cross.

The course will involve a range of activities, aimed at giving a basic understanding of British Sign Language. It will include:

• Finger-spelling Alphabet

• A Mime Game

• Greetings

• Introduce Yourself (with a Q+A)

Please bring some cash for a donation. There's no set amount, and if you cannot afford to donate anything at all you're still very welcome to join us. Hot drinks and biscuits will be provided.

Meet your facilitator:

Manjeet is profoundly (severely) Deaf.She has worked within the Deaf, Hard of Hearing Community & is now working with DeafBlind people. She is a qualified Tutor as a British Signs Language Level 1 & 2, teaching hearing parents including deaf child/children, Deaf Awareness & Baby Signs since 1998. Manjeet is a member of the Pause & Breathe community and has volunteered her time to hold this session.
