Did you know that there were 7 different types of rest? Often, when we feel tired we try to have a nap, or chill out in front of the TV. Although we've "rested" we don't feel as if we have. Why is this? We're giving ourselves the wrong type of rest!
During this workshop I'll introduce the 7 different types of rest to you. We'll explore how to learn when we need which kind - and how to bing all seven ways of resting into our lives more. Everyone will leave with an individual rest plan, enabling you to realise your rested dreams. You know - those dreams you have of one day feeling rested, ready for anything!
The workshop will be held via zoom on Tuesday 14th January 7-8.30pm. For everyone who signs up, the recording will be made available for a further 30 days - so it's possible to re-watch. Meet Your Facilitator:
Susie worked as a Social Worker within Criminal Justice for 20 years, and is passionate about helping people to make difficult changes. Since the beginning of 2017, Susie has been delivering mindfulness within her local community in Falkirk. She co-founded Pause & Breathe CIC with her husband, Phil Blackburn and is delighted to have opened The Place to Pause & Breathe in Bonnybridge - bringing people together in community. Susie is a Mindfulness Coach and a certified Daring to Rest Facilitator. Her approach is trauma-sensitive, and she is an advocate of giving participants choice in everything she offers.
