There are many benefits attributed to mindfulness practice. Both physical and mental health have been shown to improve, for example:
Lowering blood pressure
Reduction in stress and anxiety
Improved relationships.
These sessions are for anyone with an interest in mindfulness. We will be learning the skills of mindfulness meditation as well as exploring ways to bring mindfulness into our day to day lives.
These sessions will take place fortnightly, on Sundays from 6-7pm. Anne Marie Gillies will be facilitating the sessions.

There are yoga mats cushions and blankets at the centre, but you may wish to bring your own.

Meet Your Facilitator:
Anne Marie spent her working life in the NHS as a nurse. Her last 20 years were in Mental Health, where she saw how poor mental health effects the quality of people’s lives. Toward the end of her career, treatment was expanding and Mindfulness programmes were developing. With a view to helping her patients and colleagues she began her own journey into Mindfulness. Studying with Mindfullybeing, The Heart Movement and Pause & Breathe. Have recently completed teacher training in Mindfulness she is keen to share the benefits of living mindfully with others.
