Our Friday Morning Wellbeing session this week will be "Dru Yoga for Back Care", held by Yoga with Margaret.
In this introductory session we will experience yoga postures to help with back pain and/ or maintain a healthy spine. We will move gently and with awareness, adapting postures to suit everybody. The spine is an essential part of our bodies, providing strength and support, and housing the central nervous system.
The back needs to move and, in the words of George Bernard Shaw “If you can’t get rid of the skeleton in your closet, you’d best teach it to dance”.
Margaret holds Dru Yoga Post-Graduate Certificates in The Back Care Foundation Course and, The Dru Back Care and Wellbeing Course for Social Prescribing.
This session is being held on Friday 16th August from 10-11.30am. The session will be an hour, followed by the chance to stay for a cuppa, biscuit and a chat. Click here to book in.

Margaret and her husband moved to Kilsyth from the Manchester area in 2014 to be near their daughter and her family. That same year Margaret began to train with Dru Scotland and qualified in 2016. She has experienced many schools of yoga, but Dru has been her mainstay since 2010. Margaret’s approach is relaxed and encouraging, and her teaching is delivered with a smile.
