Beginner, intermediate or expert this is for all levels.
Sometimes silly and sometimes thoughtful, these creative drawing challenges allow you to be free to play, think and create without the burden of needing to produce a “work of art”.
You don’t have to be “good at drawing”. The purpose of these challenges is not to create the most beautiful or realistic looking picture. Your challenge is simply to engage your imagination and hold your attention for a little while doing something you wouldn’t normally do - drawing something you wouldn’t normally choose to draw, maybe using a method you haven’t tried before. Your masterpiece will look totally different from anyone else who is doing the same challenge. Your creative journey is your own. And with a little play and a little practice, who knows where it may take you.
This is being held on Friday 28th March 10-11.30am. The session is free and the materials will be provided. However, the centre costs money to run so donations are welcome. Hot drinks and snacks will be available. Click here to book in.
Susan is volunteering her time to run this session.

Meet your facilitator:
Susan is a queenager, a middle-aged life changer, and a bit of an over-thinker! After a long career of somewhat creative jobs in design and marketing, and her own small business making dog accessories, she now wants to balance this with a bit more fun in her life and be open to the next stage of what life has to offer. And this year, as a side project, she is developing a book of drawing challenges that anyone can use for their own mindful practice, to encourage and develop their own artistic ideas through creative play. This workshop will be the first trial run of a few of these creative challenges, and pictures of the finished work will appear on the book cover!
