This is an 8-week course that offers an understanding of Mindfulness and how to make it relevant in daily life.
Learn the skills of mindfulness to promote long-term wellbeing.
Some of the benefits of living more mindfully include reduced stress, anxiety, increased resilience and improved relationships.
The course will run over 8 weeks and sessions will be 2 hours long. It starts on Sunday 4th May 6-8pm, running for 8 consecutive weeks. There is also a day retreat included, which takes place on Sunday 27th July 2025.
A detailed manual and resources will be provided to help with home practice - which is an important part of the course.
The course takes place in The Place to Pause & Breathe in Bonnybridge, starting on Sunday 4th May 6-8pm. Hot drinks will be provided - donations for these would be welcomed. Please note that this session will be held in our new premises on the High Street.
The cost of the course, which includes the manual, resources and day retreat is £160. Previous attendees of this course are able to repeat the course to deepen their practice, with a 50% discount for this. Meet Your Facilitator:
Anne Marie will be your facilitator for this session. Anne Marie spent her working life in the NHS as a nurse. Her last 20 years were in Mental Health, where she saw how poor mental health effects the quality of people’s lives. Toward the end of her career, treatment was expanding and Mindfulness programmes were developing. With a view to helping her patients and colleagues she began her own journey into Mindfulness. Studying with Mindfullybeing, The Heart Movement and Pause & Breathe. Have recently completed teacher training in Mindfulness she is keen to share the benefits of living mindfully with others.
