Move and Meditate with Yoga - 4-Week Block - Bonnybridge

  • The Place to Pause & Breathe 18 High Street Bonnybridge, FK4 1DA United Kingdom (map)

This specially designed class nourishes the mind, body, and soul on a deeper level. Set in a calming environment with soothing music, you’ll be guided through gentle stretches to awaken the body and release tension. This slower-paced movement helps connect you to the breath, preparing you for Savasana and Yoga Nidra—a deeply restorative practice that promotes relaxation and emotional balance.

In today’s fast-paced world, we often prioritise productivity over rest. However, true well-being requires both effort and deep rest. A regular Yoga Nidra practice strengthens the relaxation response, helping you manage stress, increase self-awareness, and rediscover the art of restoration amidst life’s demands.

What to bring:

  • Comfortable clothing

  • Your own yoga mat

  • A blanket and small pillow for added comfort during Yoga Nidra

Would you like to cultivate a happier, healthier mind and body through deep relaxation?

These are community classes, we are subsidising the rate to ensure access to all.

This is a 4-week block, which takes place in The Place to Pause & Breathe in Bonnybridge starting on Tuesday 1st April 2-3pm. The block is £15 to join, or drop-in sessions are £5 per class. Your facilitator will be Jamie from The Native Soul. Book the block here.

Meet Your Facilitator:

With a background in dance and over 20 years of experience teaching movement, Jamie has always been aware of the powerful connection between body and mind. After 10 years of personal practise with yoga and meditation, she became a fully certified yoga instructor in 2020, creating The Native Soul to share the many benefits of yoga with others.

Having personally experienced the challenges of mental health struggles when younger, yoga became a life-changing tool for her. Through regular practice of movement, and Yoga Nidra - which felt like coming home - there was a progressive shift with negative thinking patterns and she is more emotionally resilient during stressful situations. Now, Jamie is passionate about helping others discover yoga as a way to reconnect with themselves, manage stress, and cultivate deep relaxation.

Her teaching style focuses on gentle, mindful movement and restorative practices that encourage self-awareness, relaxation, and emotional well-being. With classes and events held regularly throughout the Central belt and Hillfoots, Jamie believes that yoga is more than just movement - it’s a path to self-discovery, healing, and finding harmony between mind, body, and soul.
